the major problem for PRC army is that information system is not as updated as American army. wining a war is all about fast data transition nowadays. try to think like this: if you already have heavy support behind your infantries but you could not send "call for support" information back to your head quarter or support unit on time, your whole squad may be sitting ducks there and get slaughtered easily. If PRC army can build a effective info/data system that connects all functional regiments or command posts together, i think that the overall power can almost tie up with American army, regardless those specific weaponries and troop qualities.
