和古龙的碧玉刀有着类似的开局，读者和书中人一样很容易产生类似的甜蜜的误会；然而随着故事情节不断反转反而有长生剑的神韵，柳逸颇有暗黑袁紫霞的味道。
一品堂的残酷和决绝几乎到了非人的地步，如果是长篇小说很可能会是败笔，但在短篇小说和作者精妙的节奏把控下里就像一勺恰到好处的盐，丰富了暗黑的底味，却没有夺取故事本身的乐趣。
